What I'm Wearing:
Ethnic Look : Haute Curry dress + Stop dupatta + Rocky Star shoes from Shoppers
Western Look : Life top & skirt + Rocky Star shoes from Shoppers Stop

I'm slowly beginning to think we girls are too aware of international fashion and disappointingly unaware of our own nations fashion abilities. I consider myself a part of that crew too.

I happened to browse through the Shoppers Stop website and I loved what I was looking at! I decided to go their store at Inorbit Malad and source a couple of outfits to shoot with to show you guys what I had in mind. Namely, one ethnic and one western look. I spent close to two hours just zeroing in on the final looks because I was simply spoilt for choice - there was so much I loved! So much I wanted to wear, and shoot with, and flaunt around, and blog about! Result: Walked into the changing rooms hauling way more clothes than me or my colleague could hold, and left the store (mind you - this was post shoot) with more shopping bags than my wallet could hold ;)

What to expect: Tons of bright, cheery colors in silhouettes ranging from wardrobe basics to summer dresses, flirty jumpsuits, printed trousers and more. The collections are spread across a massive pallete which is amazing ofcourse, but it does require you to really hunt if you're looking for something specific. You can check out of all this & buy my looks on the Shoppers Stop website, or the app, whichever you like :)

What I'm Wearing :
GAS Jumpsuit, Celine All Soft Shoulder Bag, Steve Madden Shoes, Rolex Watch, Style Fiesta Bracelets, Prada Sunglasses

I spotted this absolutely beautiful Cerulean blue jumpsuit at The Apartment at Lakme Fashion Week and decided it was bang in the direction of what I had in mind for one of my changes at Day 2. I've never worn this shade of blue in my entire life and its just so beautiful a color to not have discovered yet! Comfort, of-course, is of utmost priority at fashion week and what could be better than a versatile one-piece like this that was airy in all the right places? And the fact that it totally appeals to my lazy girl spirit. On stressful days like these where you have deadlines to meet, posts to upload and shows to cover - you're done with your outfit in a fraction of a second and all thats left to focus on is your accessories! Ta-da! My Celine All Soft Shoulder Bag in a complementing shade of blue fit in my dozen essentials for the hectic day and perfectly into the vibe. Super statement caged heels completed the look (but only for this shoot). For the rest of the day you might have spotted me strolling in espradilles.

The elongated torso was slightly tricky when I first looked at it, but I took the plunge and shrugged off that tiny tinge of doubt by the time the first street-style photographer of that day came up to me.

I've been so excited to share this look with you since the moment I wore it but I just haven't found the time amidst all the craziness. So finally :) Hope you liked it!

Samsung Gear S2 - Features I Love!

When I first started unravelling the Gear S2, I was pretty much overwhelmed with the number of features, apps, and even watch faces it had. I got around to getting used to the way it works (those typical 24 hours you obsess over your new gadget like it’s a newborn angel in your life), and when I finally got a hang of it, but naturally, I had my mega list of features I LOVED the most. Listing them down here for you, so maybe I could cut those 24 hours a little shorter for you?

Step Target
I have the constant urge to be more active in my daily life to achieve a more wholesome, healthier, happier approach to my 24/7 routine. After all - we girls have got to feel hot to look hot and kick ass, and there's just one way to doing it - by being healthy from the inside. I set my GearS2 to vibrate to remind me when I've been sitting down for more than an hour so I can do my next con call walking around office rather than slumping in my chair. My daily step target is constantly reminding me to walk more and sometimes take the stairs instead of the lift to just achieve my goal for the day.

That Bezel Movement
Can't deny how fun (and smooth) this navigating feature is. You can switch between apps, change volume, amp up the brightness and cycle back to notifications. Gets better with every turn :)

Water/Caffeine Tracker
The benefits of water are simply endless (and can be found on any Google infographic so let’s not dwell on that bit) BUT yet somehow I just. do. not. manage to drink enough water. Don't just read on, because I know you're guilty of the same too. Well, except some rare species. So this super cool feature allows me to clock in the number of glasses I'm gulping down along with keeping track of my daily survival coffee shots so I can cut down on my caffeine and boost up my H2O.

Hope you enjoyed seeing photos of how I use my Gear S2! Especially kicked about it while working out too :D

FIRST LOOK OF MY Samsung Gear S2!

Wearable gadgets have been a rage for some time now, and as soon as I saw the Samsung Gear S2 release in India, I knew it was time to get my hands on one of them. SO excited to see my spanking
Samsung Gear S2 arrive at my doorstep, and I can't help but be fascinated already.
Here, I’m going to be taking you guys through my first impressions of my first ever wearable :)
So the Gear S2 arrived in a circular white box that looked just as sleek and chic as its much-awaited
contents. I personally love black strap watches for daily looks so that’s the strap I picked, and I was
very impressed with the finish and smooth fastening. I managed to set up the watch in a mere 5-10
minute time frame by downloading the Samsung Gear app and even scraped in the syncing of some
of my photos. Obsessive blogger alert!
Next up was the array of pre-loaded dials and oh my, it was strenuous to choose between the
luxurious pink and funkier mosaic one. Finally decided that I’ll just stick to changing it on a daily
basis. Oh well, its fun! Can't wait to try out the caffeine vs. water monitor, the calorie counter, the S Health feature, and so many other super cool features the Gear S2 comes pre-loaded with. I won't deny that I'm getting kinda addicted to the rotating bezel, too!

I'm Wearing: Outfit from Melange in Lifestyle Stores & Sunglasses from Style Fiesta

Accepted the 'Rethink Ethnic' challenge by Kangana Ranaut for Melange and here's what I churned up!

Wearing Reliance Trends' in-house brands Rio & Fig for their show featuring Rahul Mishra for Day 5 at Lakme Fashion Week.

Stoked on finding this gorgeous olive skirt at the Reliance Trends mall in Bandra. A palette I've always wanted to try, loved even, just never owned! I amped up this unquestionably simple outfit with statement shoes and my most precious 'vintage' find of a bag. I'd like to think my grandmother paraded around her supreme days with this piece of art hung over her shoulder.

Scraping through this blog post with droopy eyes and a sore hand(blame the selfie-taking?) - all thanks to the madness otherwise known as Fashion Week.

Fret not, I'm seeing you guys tomorrow with a new post :)

Until then, Sleeptight xx

I'm Wearing
Superdry Dress, Dune Sneakers

Reliance Brands has a super unique property called The Apartment at Lakme Fashion Week since 4 seasons now and I happened to be the 'Hostess' for Day 2! Fundamentally, it's a suite at the St Regis hotel (yes, where fashion week takes place) that's converted into a fashion mecca for these frenetic 5 days of the half-year. All their in-house brands like Dune, GAS, Diesel, Kenneth Cole, Steve Madden, BCBG Maxazria etc do super interesting displays with their current collections alongwith a pop-up beauty space to have your hair/makeup/nails done and ofcourse, some yummy champagne and hors d'oeuvres to go with. There are tons of exciting events that happen daily at The Apartment with professionals across the fashion fraternity making an attendance without a doubt. I had the opportunity to invite some of my readers to The Apartment, through a mini-contest on Instagram, for a styling session with me. I'm sure you caught the mayhem on Snapchat and Insta but here are some photos from my super hectic but FUN day! Can't possibly put into words the happiness that meeting your readers brings. Kinda confirms that there really are REAL people reading this blog!

Didn't find myself a chance to watch any shows on this day, quite unfortunately, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't have a blast being dolled up in whichever brands I may have pleased like while hosting some lovely industry connoisseurs while I was at it. For all those who did - thanks for stopping by :)
